8/5/10 Weekend is here :D

Morning all.

Hope all your weeks have not been too demanding from you. I am certainly feeling the stress & strain lately. With the other TV sold off for lack of pc compatibility i need a new one and will be seeing what's on offer today. :D But do not have much to go with , guess a bit of credit may have to be considered. :(

But good things do come to those who wait as they say :D

So that looks good and has cheered me up too. Just need a Win7 in the comming months and i'll install the board.

Also found a awesome deal on a AMD x3 435 @ 2.9ghz delivered for £52. Cheapest around and brand new , i am looking at getting this next week maybe. But TBH a TV is the priority now.

Craig the new board looks sharp. I know I have seen it before what model is it? And that is good news on the CPU also. You must be getting close to building that thing?

Its the Asus P6T Deluxe X58 1366 board to replace my DFI x58 micro ATX. Not USB or Sata 3 but will take a 980x :D

Ok off to shop for a TV .... Maybe ??

Good morning everyone, glad to see you got your board M8, sounds like the build is almost done on the HTPC or at least getting much closer to it. Thanks for the coffee it was just what i needed.

This would be a great cooler for the HTPC

Looks like a very cool little cooler mate. :D

But possibly more than i need ? I am NOT going to be clocking this thing over stock for the moment. I have the low profile cooler Scythe Shuriken that is as good as it gets for low profile and silent , bettering the stock.


I do prefer the WC options but its not going to be a main rig just yet and i dont want to throw money at it just yet unless necessary for its foreseeable usage.

I have two of those scythe coolers LOL for 20GBP I would go the other root myself snag it up m8.

£20 is £20 on things that i still need to get. This is not going to be a massivly used HTPC straight away. So do not want to put all the bells and whistles on it if its going to be a waste.

Id rather spend more on the main rig and justify the spend.
