Hello everyone ,

The weekend is here. :D

Been a fine week for most of us UK members. Seen quite a bit of sun and temps of around 18degs on most days with this weekend getting even hotter. We lack it up while it lasts here.

Peruvian coffee this morning for you all.

Enjoy the day

Good morning thanks for the coffee M8, it was what I needed LOL so I got my Elite installed last night just been stress testing and I must say I am very impressed with it as a cooler my load temps dropped 20C from my air cooler and I am currently idling at 20C about 3C above room temps at the moment this thing is great, once I swap out the original water block for a new one I'm hoping the temps drop a few more degrees.

WoW ,, that sounds like a real quality cooler m8. No wonder 4hams keeps putting me on to this baby. Please load some pictures for us.

That is some improvement and some cool temps. What do they retail for m8 ?

Im guessing $500 :D

I am really liking the new options available to be honest. I doubt id be able to afford one of the top line model coolers but might consider a change next year.

Could sell my H50 on and add a little and look into the Coolit Eco or something. Not that im am un happy with the corsair. Just keeps things interesting.

Craig I do not think you would be happy with the ECO over the H50. They are pretty much the same type of cooler. The coolit Elite as smduff has is a cooler chiller and those are pretty cool items.

They are the exact same Joel your right. Even mass produced my the same people before being sold off to Coolit or Corsair.

The ECO has an improved head i believe. Not something that i am in a hurry to do here , just an idea of keeping things fresh. Who knows what other coolers we may see coming this year :D

The ECO is supposed to shave at least another 10c from the H50 and the Domino with it's new design, pretty decent improvement if it is true.

Yeah , I heard its all about the new head. The H50 has a really large one. So if your clocking high its not concentrating on the copper part of the head and transmits heat around the processor socket , contributing to the continuous temperature rise when stressing.

The more sizely fitted ECO head is supposed to only fit the cpu area. Directly sucking the heat into the head and not allowing any contact on the socket like the H50 does.

Just something to think about , that is all.
