hey gang the coffee is freshly brewing right now and should be ready pretty soon

yesterday had the roofing contractor stop by and come to an agreement with a new roof.Been putting it off for while and not able to re-roof this house by my self.Believe if I could I would.
anyhow he honored an estimate from last year and of all the guys that came by I thought his outfit and reputation would be the best.

So much for any newer PC stuff anytime soon.

Good Morning everyone. Thanks for the coffee Peter, good luck with the new roof. Not the type of job to tackle by yourself. Hire the right guy and they will be done and cleaned up in a day. Make sure to get some kind of gutter guard if you have gutters.

You're better off letting a pro do your roof. My father & I did a previous house of mine about 15 years ago and I'll never do it again, too much work & hot!

Good afternoon everyone...thanks for the last of the coffee. It sure hit the spot. I had practice this morning for the girls team and got to work on the new router soon after. So far so good. Been enjoying the day so far.

yep thanks Steve you are right last year I was pretty damn close to doing it myself and actually was seriously considering it myself because it sure looked like I could actually just put down another layer of shingles and have done a bit of roofing before but was a bit younger then.This year decided to go with a pro roofer in my area that gave an estimate last year.It is going to best to do a full tear-off and put down new ice barriers and fix the decking properly. A bit more costly but actually is the right way and besides the legal documentation for property looks better when a new roof was done by the pros rather than me.
