Thank you for the cup of coffee! I am actually glad it is monday! It's been a long weekend at work. The only bright spot was saturday night making my little post of birthday terror over on PureOC. So I have not heard how it went over, and i have been too afraid to go an see. Hoping i wasn't too abnoxious!

Oh well, i thought i was being funny.. girls at work certainly thought it was hilarious when i showed a few of them what i had done....one laughed so hysterically that i thought she was going to pee herself! hahahahaha I haven't even heard from the birthday victim boy himself so i have no idea if anything i did for that day was even seen much less appreciated.. it wasn't the only thing i did.. vampy chick was being overcome with vampitude saturday and sunday! Muhahahaha.... it was just the only public one.. not even a thank you!! :suspect:

And then worse yet i wanted to make my little bobble head movie play in an open frame like i can make youtube stuff play here, but i couldn't figure it out because that site is set up different from this one plus i was at work trying to figure it all out when all heck decided to break loose there at the same darn time.. go figure, so i had to settle with only posting a link to imageshack... ugh!!!!! How boring!!!! So how does one post a movie clip over there and make it show up in the post anyway??? I know it can be done!!

I only got three posts in my email last night so wasn't sure if it got torn down.. been too chicken sh!t to go back and look at how it was received by the community over there and the birthday boy whom i thought would have said something to me by now has maintained his silence which is what worries me most... :pale:

I guess i figured as much Today has just been a weird day.. goes along with this past weekend. I got called in the office this morning to sign a statement. They are getting ready to let go of one of our aides for attendance issues and personnel policy violations.. unfortunately it is my first time being directly involved in a process like this so i was very uncomfortable with it.. too unsavory for me as my complaint was meant to just help her do the right thing ..not get let go.. I refused to sign the statement and they kept me in the office trying to convince me othewise. The only thing that got me to sign it was assurance that i was not going to be revealed as one of the complaintants for fear of retribution. They assured me that my identity would not be revealed to her. The last time i wrote a statement it came back to bite me in the back end when the employee in question confronted me about it..... that was awful..worse yet i was in the right.. she falsified medical records and i and the nurse practitioner caught her and had concrete proof of it. She could have lost not only her job but her nursing license and instead the military moved her to another floor making her their problem becasue she had tenure. Unfortunately, this girl is still in her one year probationary period.. they do one year instead of 90 days with government jobs, so they are not obligated to keep her. I still feel like crap though, but when looking at things from a patient care and safe practice stand point i understand why. Still sucks.

Maybe i will feel better with a nap. I have been up since yesterday 4pm and i didn't leave work until 10am this morning because of all of it. I am easy to unsettle when i am tired.

Hey folks how ya all doing? Went to work and got a call about 1Pm that my daughter Bailey was at the Milton Hospital. She was up in milton for a school soccer tournament and blew out her knee.

Just got home and she is in a splint and on crutches for a few weeks till she see's the orthopedic surgeon for an MRI...

We have to go to her soccer tonight because it is our turn to bring snacks...

OMG Joel... is your daughter alright???? Wow I hope she didn't tear up her knee too badly!!! I hear arthroscopic surgeries aren't a whole lot of fun. I will keep her in my prayers.

That sucks Joel tell her to take it easy and enjoy the game from the sidelines, you can teach her the finer points of "cheering" LMAO enjoy the game Bud I hope she is okay.

Thanks folks we do not know how much damage there is to her knee till we see the surgeon for the MRI. It is swollen and sore so she will have to take it easy.
Her mom has been thru 4 surgeries on her knee due to soccer also and I really hope Bailey will be alright without surgery.

Don't want to see her have to go thru that and then rehab...

I am off to bed as i am pooped. Have a good night everyone!

Really hope Bailey is alright dude. Sad to read this today. Must be a horrible time for you all.

Lets be positive and due to her young age she should mend enough without the need for any surgery.

Bailey saw the specialist today and has a completely new brace now. He said the other brace completely imobilized her knee which was wrong and he also stated that she should be putting full weight on it if possible.

So it seems the emerg doc was a stooge...

He does not think she will need surgery but needs to see her again in 4 weeks to be sure. The brace she has now will let her knee bend up and down but no side movement at all.

I'll keep you all posted.

Wow.. thank goodness!! It is a real relief... sorry it has been a few days since i have been here.. been working alot before my trip. I have been thinking about you guys though... Baily has been in my prayers.. so glad she does not need knee surgery...yet. I was quite concerned for her.

That is positive to hear Joel. Sad to say ya get many of them doc's who seem to jump on the worst case scenario at first glimpse. The specialist is the one to who knows best.

Here's hoping for a speedy recovery.

That is a great spirit to have Joel. Most young kids here do not have that sense of togetherness or drive. I am sure after a good prolonged rest she will be back on a pitch doing what she loves best.
