Afternoon boys...just got back from recruiting for Cub Scouts at my boys elementary school. We have our recruitment meeting tonight and I hope to have a good turnout. The magic number is 12! I want 12 new scouts...

Hey folks it's been a busy day running around submitting tenders for jobs and dealing with the Gov, trying to get updated copies of the Occupational Health & Safety Act...

The wanted posters are not for me but for Craig the founder of McT's. It has been a year since he departed stating he would return... I doubt that after a year!

So you folks know, I have decided to make some changes which I told Zeb about yesterday.

I have been hosting images on my hosting server for this site and for another site that I am an assistant Admin on for about 5 years and have decided that I would like my hosting space back to use for other things.

I will be removing all the icons for the sections of the forum and will be removing the banner and replacing it with on of the ones designed by Craig which will be hosted by the forum motion server. I will also be removing all of my smilies but the default forummotion ones will remain.

I was asked by Craig to help him start and grow an overclocking forum because he new I had the same interest in it as he did and I agreed because we had become pretty good friends even though it was just over the net.

I did not expect him to leave me and the other members hanging as he has done. I am sure it has been evident to the regular members that about 2 maybe 3 months ago I stopped posting here on the forums except in the daily thread.

To be honest I became pissed that he left me to worry about all the content for the site and decided to stop trying to populate his forum with content!

Zeb, has also done alot of work here as far as the forum look and especially on the Portal which he designed and populated with info and or content.

I will now be able to spend more time and energy at other sites such as

Once I have completed the removal of the images, I have asked Zeb to remove me as an ADMIN but Craig changed the main admin password when he left without telling us and Zeb may not have permission to do so?

I would like to thank all the regular members for your support and participation here on the forum while I have been here! Without you guys I certainly would not have lasted this long.

Sorry if this upsets any of you as it is not my intent to do that but it is time for me to step down from the ADMIN team here!

I think you all know how to get hold of me on alternate sites if you would like. I also will not be deleting my account here and will drop in from time to time.

I wish you all the best in the future and who knows maybe Craig will turn up someday and the place may become something on day.

It's a real shame Craig left the way he did, but I really wonder if maybe something bad happened to him? I just don't see someone up and leave something like this without saying something and who's been paying the website fee?

Craig and most my friends know they can always lean on me for support if I can be of support. I hope nothing bad has happened to him or his family. I don't wish him any bad will but feel that he should have explained or at least dropped in once in a while.

I know he had some concerns with the kids and I also let him know that my wife could have been an awesome resource for him if needed.

I truly hope that he just woke up and decided to get a life and not spend most of it on the net as myself.

I have often wondered what happened to Craig it just didn't seem right.

I second Steve in the huge thank you for all you have done here. You will be missed that is certain. I'm sure we will talk again on one of the other sites.

Andre, I have not closed the site and do not think Zeb will nor do i think we have the ability without the main Admin password.

I can find no setting that allows me to email complete threads as this software is very primitive compared to Vbulletin. At the very begginning of the thread top right corner there is a share button which has a lot of options. Maybe you use something that will work with one of the options and allow you to move or share the whole thread somewhere else without it just being a link back to the original thread. Sorry!

Firstly thanks to Joel for all his efforts.
His contribution here, has been greater than anyone else's.
Though thanks is deserved by all members here.

It is unfortunate about Craig.
One can only hope he has found life in the real world.
The last I heard they were on the verge of adding to the family.
So priorities may have changed.

Without founders password.
One cannot shut the site down.
So you can carry on as you are.
Though updates may be slow in application.
(Without someone to take the helm.)
Forumotion work in such a way that you do not have server access.
This prevents the moving of threads/posts.
As long as there is some traffic, I believe Forumotion would get some revenue from adverts.
So they are not that bothered about whether the forum thrives or not.
It is possible to approach their management & have a new founder.
If anybody is interested.

From my own point of view.
I would rather adapt/expand knowledgetree.
Than put any more into this forum.
I know it sounds selfish.
But I believe in order for my forum to flourish/move forward.
I would have to put it 1st.

I am however willing to assist anyone interested in taking this forum further.
