Embeding Flash
Hi, I am prone to being somewhat cretinous when it comes to syntax and code. Could someone give me a hint as to what to do with the code when it comes to embeding? Yeah I know :sorry:
Re: Embeding Flash
Hi Tim, the forum options for attachments leave alot to be desired.
For best results use a file hosting site like Photobucket. Just host pretty much any photo or movie file and then use their provided code to post it here and on other forums.

Re: Embeding Flash
Thanx. Thing is though, I must be missing a tag or something simple that I am overlooking. I copy the code for everything else through Photobucket. No problems with [url] and [img].
With the flash, I follow the steps and make sure that the code has the required size x size, but there it goes wrong or appears to. The code just transports to the post but does not embed. I am thinking the tags are the issue, but frustratingly, I don't know what?

Post the code that you have from the hosting site you are using here in this thread and i will have a look at it to see if I see anything wrong if that helps?

Not quite. I think I have solved it in terms of having an idea, but more experimenting needed
Re: Embeding Flash
Tim, when choosing the code from youtube make sure the embedded code is no wider than 600 px so it fits the dimensions of the forum which may help?

Re: Embeding Flash
I was wondering myself. The dimensions I have avaliable, do not go that high. I am pretty much sure that a third party java script will be required. Control over board content is quite tight as a free service.
Then again I can be quite awful with an OS. It is possible that I have a tag or switch or something. Gonna keep experimenting. If it helps, this error file was thrown up.
