Been real hot week for us UK members. Highs of 22 yesterday. Been sweating my ass off all week.

I hope your all well and stuff. I see the new AMD hexacore was released. No surprises to how it squares up. But great for the money. :Cool:

Hi Steve as I see it the AMD should be a faster chip than the Intel i7 975. And I am glad to see that it is.

The interesting thing to see will be the next few months when intel releases more of the 6 core chips and if the AMD's can compete... or will the Intel chips still be in a class of there own when talking raw power not value...

I have no doubt in my mind that they will because Intel has had the tech for a few years and are able to improve upon it, to AMD this is a new tech and I couldn't be any happier. You have to remember that AMD was once the king and Intel lagged behind for the longest time, Intel has now had there time in the sun and AMD is now back on track and I'm sure they will surpass Intel again.

That is Impressive. Must admit its the only one i have seen that outstrip the intel on benchmarks.

Every review i read they are very close to i7 920 - 930 standard on stock clocks. ? :afro:
