Bob thought you might like to know that the pin was removed about 5 minutes ago and there was no explosion. I guess you could call it a dead grenade.
The barbs used in these CooliT rads have 3 groves around them. The 2 lower groves have O -rings to make a seal and once inserted into the rad the pin then gets inserted through the wholes in the barb spout into the groove in the barb and then into the whole in the spout on the other side to lock the barb in place.
Yes I made sure that I covered the O-rings with plumbers grease so I would not tear them. So now I have one rad complete and ready to tear apart the second Domino ALC by CooliT so I can use the rad...
Anybody know a place a guy can get old water cooling stock or discontinued items? I want to use a cylinder type reservoir but all the manufacturers have gone and upped the diameter from 5 cm to 6 cm and I would really prefer the smaller diameter for where it is to be mounted. I also do not want it to be any longer than 15 cm.
If anybody knows anyone with used items that they may be willing to part with or a place that specializes in obsolete items please let me know. Oh ya and a decent pump also.

Close to me means nothing as it is an online internet store only! They do not have a retail location for picking up parts or I would have already been to see them.smduff wrote:hows bout a pump res combo? Either way Dazmode is local for you check him out first.
I am only open to a pump res combo if someone has one really super cheap? Got any ideas there Steve?

Thanks Mike, the specs show it as 50mm. It appears that all the other manufactureres have gone to 60 mm. I bookmarked the site thanks as i will have a more detailed look at it later!
