Re: Intel P67 Chipset MotherBoard
Anything is better than the air cooled fan Intel sent me.
By the way... just noticed you are a mod here, Savage... congrats! Probably missed the post... I do that. Getting out to the forums has been a challenge for me for the past few months. Job and kid activities are starting to make life challenging! Still enjoying seeing the kids develop in their sports.

Sith family will always be more important than forums.
Drop in whenever you have time.
I also will be very scarce in the forseeable future as I am having to make some big changes and try something new.
I'll try to drop in every night but who knows what will happen over the next few weeks...

Re: Intel P67 Chipset MotherBoard
Can you share any details, Joel?
Thanks Tracy...it's more of a symbolic gesture as a gaming moderator as I kind of game hardcore LOL.

Re: Intel P67 Chipset MotherBoard
They are not exciting details and I am not very proud of it either. Lets just say that after 12 years of being my own boss I lost it and now I have to actually work. Not feeling to good about that or my self but hey "S" happens so they say...

Fair enough and keep us in the loop. Most of us have been there at some point or another and know how it can be. I hope things work out
Re: Intel P67 Chipset MotherBoard
I second savage's remarks. Good luck Joel.

Agreed... Good luck, Joel. The fact that you were your own boss for twelve years was no accident and it is something you should be proud of.

Re: Intel P67 Chipset MotherBoard
It doesn't mean shiet when the rest of the working community consider it as not having a work history...
And at 5:30 this morning I get notified that the contract I was taking is on hold. So they didn't even buy me dinner before I laid down and took it...
You would think that a call might have been in order rather than having you show up, wait for an hour just to be told that the contract is on hold.

Good Luck in your new endeavors Joel
Sometimes when shitz like this happens, it's for the best and something better comes along in it's place.

Re: Intel P67 Chipset MotherBoard
Just finished installing the Corsair Hydro Series H60... what a difference!!! A little noisier than expected, but not that bad. Hoses are quite rigged, but look ok. As soon as I find my camera I'll take a picture and post. No idea where it is right now. I know my wife put it away after we got back from our trip south because I left it on the counter when we were unloading the car!!! DOH!!! Wife is teaching me a lesson, again (I'll never learn).

Sorry about the lighting... I left my off camera flash in Alabama... Had to use the (blah) pop-up flash.

That is a really nice looking guts...well done Tracy, fellow Wisconsiner and hockey fan.
Re: Intel P67 Chipset MotherBoard
Hey Tracy, doesn't the inside of the build look so much nicer with those enclosed water coolers.
I bet the system runs much cooler. And remember you can also add an identical rad to the other side of the rad for even better performance.

It does look nicer and the cooler does not block my RAM slots!!! May go to 16GB down the road. Fine with 8GB right now though. I multitask, but 8GB is plenty right now.
Probably going to switch dSLR systems soon too since Olympus dropped support for their tethering software... that and I suspect the tragedy in Japan may have hurt that firm more than others. Likely going to sell my glass and bodies while I can get something out of them (need to discuss it with the wife first). Not sure if I will go Canon or Nikon yet or if I make the move at all.

Re: Intel P67 Chipset MotherBoard
I find that is usually easier to beg for forgiveness than to ask for permission...I am by not means making a recommendation.
