Just added another fan to my system's cooling. As mentioned previously i added a Noctua 120mm fan to the intake of my H50 cooling system. I also swapped the current led fan to the case which seems to intake a lot more air to the case.

Surprisingly this has had an effect to some degree. Had about a 2 deg change on startup. Even at 4ghz with full 12GB memory 1.35 VVT voltage its still idle low 40's across all cores.

I will be stressing they system later to see if any high end improvements have been made here.

I am now a firm believer in Noctua Fans. Connecting directly to the PS they run at full speed and you can't hear them at all. Great fans.

Or use a 3000 RPM Scythe, but you may have to bolt the machine to the desk and get some ear plugs... lol!

I already removed the fan steve I have the 120mm thermaltake bolted on to my freezone and the stock thermaltake 120mm up front that came with the tower which really does not push enough air over the hard drive bays so Im thinking of changing them both out soon! but looking for something that will push at least 70cfm and be relatively quiet so any other suggestions are welcome

To fully show the Noctuas are an improvement for me i think i will be needed another 3 at least. Maybe 4. I need a set on the H50 in push pull , two for exhausting air in the top of my case and a couple of intake ones around the chassis.

Then i'll post some hopefully highly improved temps for ya to see.

Great find btw Vinman.
