The specs are in my signature for your viewing pleasure.

I decided that after running the new system for about a week it was time to see how well it overclocks. Did I start slow oh no I went big right off the bat. I will try just a touch more tomorrow when I get some more time. I think 4.0 GHz is pretty good for a first attempt. it ran stable for 42 minutes with Prime 95 before I stopped the test.

Re: Post Your CPU OverClock
My Intel i7 920 DO stepping 2.66ghz CPU LGA 1366 ~ Current best 4.2ghz
Same clock here , but with different batch of memory. Passing IBT maximum. Getting warm though.
But after upgrading my system to 12GB memory and filling up all the memory bays the overclock has to be reduced to get a fully stable system. So I am at this now.
These were all obtained when originally building the system. Since i have improved the cooling using a two fan , push and pull configuration on the Corsair H50. Extra cable management inside the chassis helped air flow. Improved the low voltage for the highest available overclock. Normal tasking the system never reaches 55degs @ 3.68ghz. I am happy.

UPDATE!
Ok folks I have finaly got the system overclocked to where I am happy and the system is cool and stable. I also have both Turbo and Hyperthreading enabled. Here are my settings and some screenshots of the stability testing.

Re: Post Your CPU OverClock
They are some pretty cool reading there mate. Congrats on that indeed.
Max core temp @ 76 degs is awesome. On a 8 threaded test too. I am into the latter eighties at the moment. But stable as well.
4ghz on an i7 is more than anyone needs. Its will still out preform even the new 6 core processors from AMD. :

Thanks guys!
Craig yes the intel quad will beat the new AMD 6 core when using a hyperthreaded application, but the new AMD when using software that does not take advantage of multi threading kicks ass for their first entry into this style CPU...

Here is mine:
Self-oc'd, it goes up and down all by itself, as needed.
