Overclocking and core voltage questions

Just curious... Do you all see the same kind of exponential voltage curve when overclocking?

(ignore the scale)

I read of folks needing just 1.35v for 4.2-4.3 on i7. but I need 1.45v for 4.3 and am already on the more vertical part of the curve at this speed.

The 2600k is even worse needing just 1.37 @ 4.5 but needing 1.52v for 4.88

Am I missing something or do you all see a similar picture?

Personally I wouldn't go over 1.34 Core voltage for any overclock, I need a stable overclock that I can leave alone, like 4.2ghz at 1.30CV even 4.0ghz is fine for my use, the difference is not that great and all those guys going over 1.50 to get 5.0GHZ, are gong to be buying a new 2600K soon. JMHO.

Yeah I noticed this when helping Vinny on his OC huge jumps required for anything over 4.2GHz
