Good morning everyone hot coffee is on help yourself, a little cloudy here today not sure if it is going to clear up or not. Have a great day.

Thank you for the coffee!! Well it is partly cloudy right now.. it rained againlast night. Starting to prepare for my trip up north again.. I'll be in town on monday!! Yeah!! I can't wait to see a few of my girlfriends! Liam is getting excited about the trip too! :D I am going to drive over night so that he will sleep through most of it sunday night with minimal stopping. Plus less traffic at night means i will get there faster whichis always a plus!! ONLY TWO MORE WORK SHIFTS!!! Yippee!!

Hey folks hope you all had a great day? Jenny glad to here you are looking forward to the trip home to see Mom & Dad. Nice that you will have Liam with you this time.

As for a get together barBQ with members here or at PureOC I just do not have the time for it with Shari back in University and her birthday next week.

I like the idea of it but feel it would take about a year of planning to get people together. Hope you have a great visit with your folks and how is Mom doing?

Yeah the trip home sounds fun I haven't been back to Calgary in a while

Hey Joel... thank you!.. yes I am very happy to be going home and have my son with me this time!!!! At least this trip will be more relaxed. I know a big bash like that would take some time for planning... well i would not say a year though.. a month or two maybe.. but i had not asked you in a while because i figured the answer would be no and i really was not going to puch the subject since nothing more had been mentions in a while until i saw this just today.. No worries. I sort of figured folks have lots going on in the summer.

My Mom is actually doing a bit better. She is able to walk for short distances now with her walker and a few feet without it. She has regained her ability to use the bathroom finally too!! She has also reagined her sense of self since being home as well. She talks to me like nothing ever happened. When she was in the hospital and nursing home she acted as though she belonged there... like she lost her spirit. It is almost like night and day how she is now compared to how she was back then. It's a huge difference. Thank God really that i was able to be with her in March even as bad as it was for me in moy own personal situation. Honestly, had she been put in another nursing home it would have been the end of her I think. It took both my and dad and I to get her into a proper Rehab situation. And now she is home and approaching nearly normal. She has home health coming still because her wound is still healing and she still gets dressing changes... yes.. still open from last august. Sigh.. she has a wound specialist looking after it now and infact she has a couple appointments i am going with her to talk to them about her progress with that. there is a possibiltiy of a skin graft in her future so tha tis why i am coing up this time... another hospital stay is just not going to be a good thing without me.

Thank you for thinking about me and asking about her!!! :D She means a lot to me.

Last week of March we got her into inpatient rehab in North Tonawanda at the local hospital there. Then two weeks later.. 2nd weeks of April she came home. She's had home health care looking after her and giving her physiotherapy at home. She has really made quite a lot of progress. I am driving home later tonight with my son, but i am not likely to stay at their house. My Dad refuses to kennel his dog that bit my son last January so i refuse to expose my son to that situation again. We'll stay with my girlfriend and then just drive over there or whatever for the day.. Back in january my dad's husky nearly took off my son's nose... it was a nightmare and the dog should have been put down, but the New York Health Dept deemed it safe. My son was 4 when that happened. So therefore I will stay with my girlfriend.
