The ATI 6870 Graphics Card
How many of you have tried ATI Graphics and then Nvidia Graphics, is there a drastic difference in cards equally priced. Is one better than the other, do some work better with AMD systems and some work better wsith Intel systems? What are your experiences? I was looking at this card

or this card

Both equally priced but the ATI card supports 4 monitors and the EVGA card only supports 2. I would appreciate some feedback.

Depends on what you do alan for you I think there is more advantage for the ATI card if your looking for greater monitor support.

I really have to give the edge to ATi here. 4 monitor support is full of WIN. I should have went this way in my build, but had it in my mind I wanted the nvidia.
Re: The ATI 6870 Graphics Card
I agree with Duff as you use a 3 monitor setup already so I would go with the ATI based card. But if you already use 3 monitors why the need for a new graphics card anyways?

The only downside I have read about is that driver support with ati/amd tends to be patchy compared to nVidia.
This is not from experience mind .... All my cards are nVidia
