After a week of showers and rain we have sunshine today :

Remember Tig? the girl without a sporting bone in her body? She is still asleep (so much exercise) but says she wants to go again next year. It seems she had a great time, made new friends, "managed to stand up on the board TWICE" and has a great face tan.

anyhooo should have my sister and her daughter Marlene stopping by today she is the one that had the graduation party a while ago and went to Peru for about about a month I hope the T storms will be out of this area for them to travel because I do look forward to seeing them and her pics of her Peruvian adventure before she goes on the Washington DC to start a career.

oh simply that they could make the trip even though its about 30 miles and arrive and for the power to be out which lately with these storms is possible [happened before]

we just have a thing in immediate family for social visits to avoid traveling in bad weather conditions snow etc,flooding is possible today in the area . who needs the aggravation of the trip turning into a big pita for such a light social visit or turning up during a Tstorm to see some pics/vids on a TV with no power.

take a look at some of the folks driving there cars in 3-4 feet of water in the Chicagoland area

was going order pizza anyways ...they are likely to miss the pizza ! because both of my sisters like the pizza in my neck of the woods when they stop by to visit. & the gyros sandwiches from this other joint too.

I get it now...Wow that brings back memories...Gyros...can't get it locally...drool

We went to a little party for our Grandson last night and had a great time.
He leaves Monday to start his new life in the Air Force!!

looks like I may be having them over tomorrow Sunday afternoon Sunday is a good day to visit around here 'cause on Sundays this popular joint has a special on Gyros & as I recall both on my sisters on different occasions have stopped or ask me to pick up and extra Gyros or 2 for them

really looking forward to their visit.
